Design technology & Developmental framework Development of proprietary products The FM demodulation ICs(PH1004) that have been employed in V-ONU/GV-ONU shown in the figure below, accelerated the integration of the Internet, IP telephone and FLET's TV as Triple Play service. Developing the FM demodulation ICs(PH1004) without applying compound semiconductor process(GaAs) wasn't generally assumed. However the ICs have been realized by making full use of our advanced analog design skill with the silicon process（SiGe-BiCMOS）. The use of Si-Ge BiCMOS technology enabled the following advantage over compound semiconductors. ・Low supply voltage and single power supply (3.3V) ・Low power consumption below the half compared with compound semiconductors ・Reduction of number of external parts and high robustness (High ESD proof property)
